Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, Average $80,000–$90,000/Year

Penske Logistics is looking for full-time local CDL-A drivers to deliver palletized groceries to area stores near Hinckley, OH. You'll be home every day and driving a late-model Penske truck built for comfort.

Pay and bonuses

• Drivers average $80000 to $90000 per year

• $3000 annual safety bonus

• Driver referral bonus program, up to $5000 per referral

• Home daily

• Choice of 4-day or 5-day schedules

What you'll haul

• Palletized grocery deliveries to local store accounts

• Friendly, professional interaction with customers at each stop

Equipment

• Late-model Penske trucks with top-tier specs for driver comfort

• Inward and outward facing cameras in the cab for added safety

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, with domicile and licensing in your U.S. state of residence

• Current or obtainable non-excepted interstate DOT medical card

• Either 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5 years, documented

• Clean driving record: no more than two moving violations or accidents in the last 3 years

• English language proficiency, per federal requirement 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)

• Must pass a background check (employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening, and complete a Penske application

• Able to work in a constant state of alertness given the safety-sensitive nature of this DOT-regulated role

• Able to see and hear well, move around the truck, and regularly lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs)
