About this job
Our company is hiring a full-time Local CDL-A Truck Driver in Streetsboro, OH to run day cab tractors with 48' or 53' trailers for LTL pickups and deliveries. You'll be home daily, Monday through Friday.
Pay
- $35.50 per hour
- Weekly pay every Friday by direct deposit
- Overtime after 40 hours
Home time
- Home daily, Monday-Friday
What you'll haul
- LTL freight to various customer locations using day cab tractors with 48' or 53' trailers
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Hazmat endorsement required to start
- Tanker endorsement required to start, or obtained within 90 days
- At least 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience
- Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- At least 21 years old
- No more than three moving violations or accidents in the last three years
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
What you'll do
- Pick up and deliver freight to various locations
- Perform lift gate deliveries, loading and unloading as needed
- Keep the tractor and freight secure, following FMCSA rules
- Communicate with customers
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
