About this job
Our company needs a solo Class A driver for a home-daily run based out of Sumner, WA. You'll stay within 100 miles of town, driving a day cab with 53' dry vans and 40' containers, moving general freight that's part touch, part no-touch.
Pay
- $30.00 per hour, paid out weekly
- Expect 50+ hours a week, which the company figures comes to $1,200 or more weekly
- Training is paid
Home time
- You're back home every day
- Workweek runs Monday to Friday, with every other weekend on
- Shifts begin somewhere between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM
What you'll haul
- 53' dry vans and 40' containers
- General freight, a combination of touch and no-touch loads
- Day cabs no older than 36 months
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Active Class A CDL with the needed endorsements
- Must have a TWIC card by your start date
- Experience needed: 9 months within the last 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5, or 5 years within the last 10
- Must clear a drug screen, background and MVR review, and a DOT physical
- Must pass our company's road test
