Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, $29.37/hr

Drive a home-daily local route out of Hanover, MD for Penske Logistics, running medical supplies to area hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers in a full-time Class A CDL seat.

Pay

• $29.37 an hour, which works out to roughly $85,000 a year

• Time-and-a-half after 40 hours a week

• A shift differential is built into your pay

Home time

• You're back home every day on this local run

• Workweek is Sunday through Friday, with dispatch times falling between 8 PM and 3 AM

What you'll haul

• Medical supply deliveries to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers

• Expect about 18 to 25 stops each week

• Equipment is late-model Penske tractors equipped with cameras facing both the road and the cab

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL issued in the state where you live

• A non-excepted interstate DOT medical certificate (or you're able to obtain one)

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the past 5

• Driving record over the last 3 years shows no more than two moving violations or accidents

• Able to pass a background check and drug test

• Federal rules require you to be proficient in English
