About this job
Our company is hiring a local CDL-A truck driver in Morrisville, NC to run doubles/triples routes and get home every day. Pay starts at $29.35 per hour, and you'll work a flexible shift schedule that can run 12-14 hours, including days, nights and weekends.

What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer, including doubles and triples configurations
- Load and unload freight
- Interact with customers and help generate sales leads
- Operate a tractor-trailer for up to 11 consecutive hours in varying weather, hauling hazardous and non-hazardous materials
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving history
- Willing to get hazmat, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days if you don't already have them
- Pass a DOT drug screen with no positive results or refusals in the past 3 years
- Valid DOT medical card, or able to pass a company-paid DOT physical
- Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and over 75 lbs occasionally, climb in and out of the cab, sit or stand for long stretches, and work outdoors in all conditions
- Sufficient English skills to read signs, communicate with the public, and complete reports, per DOT rules
Forklift experience and existing hazmat, tank and doubles/triples endorsements are a plus.
