About this job
Our company is hiring a local Class A CDL driver to haul vehicles between our company stores and approved vendors in the Schaumburg, IL area. You'll be home daily and paid hourly.
Pay
- $26.20 - $44.60 an hour
Home time
- Routes are designed to get you home every day
What you'll haul
- our company vehicles moved between company locations and approved vendors using a company-provided hauler truck
Requirements
- At least 21 years old with a valid driver's license
- Valid Class A CDL
- 2+ years of Class A CDL experience, or 2+ years of CMV experience at our company, or qualifying military heavy/medium tactical vehicle experience
- Clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like pulling, torquing and tensioning chains and straps to secure vehicles
- Able to climb, bend and kneel to access multi-level transport decks
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and noise conditions
What you'll do
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and our company standards
- Keep accurate, compliant DOT logs
- Load, secure and unload vehicles safely
- Keep your truck clean and road-ready
- Represent our company professionally with vendors and the public
