Our company is hiring a local CDL-A truck driver out of Meadville, PA. The job pays $24 an hour, is paid weekly, and the title says you are home daily.
Pay
- $24 per hour, paid weekly.
What you'll do
- Drive a commercial truck safely on planned routes so loads arrive on time.
- Check your truck before and after trips and take care of minor repairs when needed.
- Keep accurate records of your hours and the truck's service status.
- Secure cargo, handle delivery paperwork and receipts, and treat customers well at pickup and delivery.
- Tell management promptly about delays, accidents or other problems.
- Watch fuel use and keep the truck clean.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL and a current DOT physical card.
- Two years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean-enough driving record over the past 3 years: no DUIs, no reckless or careless driving, no more than 2 at-fault DOT reportable accidents, and no more than 2 speeding tickets in the last year.
- Working knowledge of federal motor carrier rules on equipment, inspections, hours of service and drug and alcohol testing.
- Comfortable dropping and hooking trailers and running reefer units.
- Able to drive up to 11 hours a day on a flexible schedule, day or night, in any traffic or weather.
