Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, $23.58–$40.70+/hr

Our company is looking for local CDL-A drivers to deliver food products to restaurant customers. You'll be home every day, paid weekly, and most routes avoid overnight layovers.

Pay

• Most hourly routes pay between $23.58 and $40.70+ per hour, depending on location, shift, and day of week

• Some routes are salaried instead, averaging $75,000 to $130,000 per year

• Sign-on bonuses of up to $6,000 may be available depending on location

• Certain routes also offer shift differentials, overtime, or other incentive pay

• Paid every Friday

Home time

• Home daily, with no layovers on most routes

• Routes generally run 4 days on, 3 days off, though some locations use a 5-day schedule

• Start times vary by location and can fall in early morning, afternoon, or overnight hours

• Shifts run about 10 to 14 hours, with drivers averaging 40 to 50 hours per week

• Because this is a 24/7 operation, you need to be available for nights, weekends, and holidays

What you'll haul

• You'll drive a diesel tractor-trailer on local routes, delivering food products to restaurants

• Expect 5 to 22 stops per day depending on the route

• All trailers have lift gates (no ramps)

• This is 100% touch freight, loaded and unloaded by hand truck or pallet jack, with lifting up to 75+ lbs

• Some positions fall under Teamsters union representation

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current DOT medical card

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving and delivery experience

• Able to lift between 5 and 75+ lbs, stay active for the full shift, and work in multi-temperature settings like coolers and freezers

• Comfortable communicating clearly with dispatch, store staff, and other drivers

• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Able to perform vehicle inspections, keep DOT logs current, and meet DOT requirements, including reading and speaking English as required
