About this job
This is a local Class A driving job out of Effingham, IL, with you home every day. Runs go out on set shifts, and you are paid by the mile with a weekly total in the range of $1,350 to $1,500.
Pay
- Weekly earnings are listed at $1,350 to $1,500.
- North runs pay $0.55 to $0.57 per mile; South runs pay $0.53 to $0.55 per mile.
- Each rate includes an extra $0.02 per mile monthly bonus.
- Expect about 490 to 520 miles a day.
Shifts
- 2am start, Monday to Friday, North.
- 4am start, Monday to Friday, North, with a start date of Nov 19.
- 4pm start, Monday to Friday, South.
- 10pm start, Sunday to Thursday, North.
Your day-to-day
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip.
- Deliver freight on schedule.
- Keep your logs and trip paperwork accurate.
Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL and at least 6 months of Class A driving experience, with no exceptions.
- A clean driving record and a passed background check.
- Able to pass a DOT drug screen.
