About this job
Our company's Lynchburg, VA terminal is looking for local CDL-A drivers to run dedicated bakery goods freight for a customer they've served for over 20 years. You'll be home every day.
Pay
- Weekly average of $1,200-$1,600
- Pay is based on mileage plus unload pay
- Weekly performance incentive on top of base pay
Schedule
- Home daily
- Dispatch window runs 2pm to 8pm
- Tuesdays and Saturdays off
- You'll be responsible for unloading your own truck
Equipment
- Late model trucks
- Fuel and DEF available onsite
Other opening: Yard Jockey
Our company is also hiring a yard jockey for rotating shifts, 6pm to 6am, paying $21.00/hour.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL issued by your state of residence
- At least one year of verifiable driving experience
- No DUI or DWI convictions in the last 5 years
- No chargeable DOT-reportable accidents in the last three years
- Additional qualifications are listed on the application
