About this job
Our company is hiring local CDL-A drivers to run a private fleet relay route out of Huber Heights, OH, with drivers home every day. This is drop-and-hook freight on a day cab, running a set round trip each shift.
Pay
- $0.61 - $0.65 per mile
- Weekly average earnings reported at $1400-$1600
- Pay rate and weekly guarantee step up at 6, 12, 18 and 24 months on the job
- Paid weekly
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
Home time
- Home every day
- Shift runs roughly Monday through Friday, 6 pm to 9 pm
- Round trip covers about 478 miles per day
What you'll haul
- Relay (drop & hook) route using a day cab
- Drivers may be asked to cover peddle routes when the regular driver is out sick, on vacation, or otherwise unavailable
Requirements
- One year of verifiable CDL-A experience, or six months of CDL-A experience plus a certificate from an accredited driving school
- Must meet all DOT qualification standards
- Able to lift, push, pull and carry items up to 50 pounds
- Willing to fill in on peddle routes as needed
