Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $28/hr, Home Every Night

Drive a local route for a Windber, PA-based carrier, running freight across Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia and Ohio. You'll work Monday through Friday on dayshift, averaging 50-60 hours a week, and be back home every night.

Pay

• $28 an hour

• Extra $0.02 per mile safety bonus

• $3,000 bonus for each driver you refer

Home time

• Home every night, based out of the Windber, PA terminal

What you'll haul

• 53-foot dry vans, averaging 4.5 years old

• 100% no-touch freight, with over 70% drop and hook

• Assigned Freightliner and Western Star tractors (no slip seating), average age 2.68 years, all automatic transmission

• PrePass Plus and a driver app for paperwork, payroll and time-off requests

Requirements

• Class A CDL

• At least 1 year of driving experience

• Minimum age 23

• No major driving convictions (DWI, DUI, hit and run, homicide/assault, license suspension, reckless driving) in the last 5 years

• No more than 4 minor violations in the last 36 months, or more than 2 in the last 12 months

• Must live within daily driving distance of Windber, PA
