About this job
Our company is looking for a Local Class A CDL driver to support John Deere's private fleet near Greer, SC, with daily hometime and no-touch, mostly drop-and-hook freight.
Pay
- $28.00 per hour, paid weekly
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Weekly earnings average around $1,500
- Referral bonus starting at $1,500 for bringing in new drivers
- Quarterly safety bonus program
Schedule & home time
- Monday through Friday, starting around 5:30 am
- Expect 45 to 50 hours weekly
- Home every day, weekends off
What you'll haul
- Picking up and moving trailers between locations in Kernersville, NC, and sites in VA, SC, and GA
- Mostly drop-and-hook, with occasional live load/unload
- Automatic, newer equipment provided
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- TWIC card required
- Prior port experience required
- At least 21 years old
- At least one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Able to obtain a HAZMAT endorsement within 30 days of hire
- Must meet DOT qualification standards
