About this job
Liebovich Steel & Aluminum needs a CDL-A driver for a local, first-shift route in Kalamazoo, MI. You'll run daily routes of roughly 100-200 miles with several stops, driving a late-model tractor-trailer.
Pay
- $27.00 per hour
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours weekly, first shift
What you'll haul
- Steel and aluminum products requiring secure chaining or strapping, with up to eight or more straps per load
- Tarping may be required depending on weather; tarps weigh about 50 pounds
Requirements
- Class A commercial driver's license
- Able to complete pre-trip inspections and DOT-required equipment checks
- Comfortable securing, loading and unloading freight using mechanical aids
- Familiar with hours-of-service logging and DOT/FMCSA/EPA/OSHA rules
- Clean, accurate paperwork and trip documentation
