Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $24/hr

Our company is hiring a local Class A truck driver based in Erie, PA. The role pays $24 an hour, with weekly pay, and the title promises you are home daily. You will run routes, drop and hook trailers and handle reefer units.

Pay

• $24 per hour, paid weekly

What you'll do

• Drive a commercial truck safely, following efficient routes so freight arrives on time

• Check the truck before and after each trip and take care of minor repairs when needed

• Keep accurate records of your hours and the truck's service status

• Secure cargo, and handle delivery paperwork and receipts accurately

• Tell management quickly about delays, accidents or other problems

• Keep an eye on fuel use and refueling, and keep the truck clean with basic upkeep

• Treat customers well at pickup and delivery

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and a current DOT physical card

• Two years of verifiable commercial driving experience

• A clean driving record for the past 3 years: no DUIs, no reckless or careless driving, and no more than 2 at-fault DOT-reportable accidents; no more than 2 speeding violations in the last year

• Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Regulations

• Comfortable dropping and hooking trailers and working with reefer units

• Able to drive up to 11 hours a day on a flexible schedule, day or night, in any traffic or weather
