Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $22–$25/hr, Ag Deliveries

Our company in Pontiac, IL 61764 needs a local CDL-A driver to haul agronomy supplies out to area farms and customers. This is a full-time, hourly role with set local routes, no long hauls.

Pay

• $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Guaranteed at least 40.0 hours a week

What you'll haul

• Dry and liquid fertilizer, seed, and crop protection supplies, plus other farm-related products

• Drop-offs at farms, fields, customer sites, and our company facilities

What the job involves

• Running company trucks and trailers safely on delivery routes

• Loading and unloading freight with the right equipment and technique

• Checking your vehicle each day and flagging any problems

• Keeping delivery tickets, bills of lading, and logs accurate and current

• Staying compliant with DOT rules and the company's safety standards

• Staying in touch with dispatch, customers, and the agronomy staff

• Pitching in on inventory and facility tasks when needed

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or willingness to get them)

• Able to drive a manual transmission truck

• Comfortable navigating with GPS

• A year of driving experience is a plus

• A year working in agriculture is a plus
