Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $20/hr, Home Daily

Our company is hiring a local Class A CDL driver in Wichita, KS. You move empty trailers between our company customer facilities on a fixed weekday schedule and are home every day.

Pay

• $20.00 per hour, paid weekly

• About $600 a week based on a 30-hour week

Schedule and home time

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 4:30

• Local work, home daily

What you'll do

• Shuttle equipment between our company customer sites; the trailers are empty, so there is no freight to touch

• Drive safely and follow DOT rules

• Watch for safety hazards and help remove them

• Keep your records and logs accurate

• Drive trucks that are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside support and fueling at over 800 our company maintenance locations

Requirements

• Be at least 21

• Hold a Class A CDL with any endorsements the job needs

• Have verified Class A tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10

• Clear a drug test, a background and driving record check (with drug and alcohol history from previous employers for the last 3 years), a DOT physical and a road test

• Some assignments add customer screening such as badging
