Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $1,500–$1,900/Week

This local Class A CDL driving job has you running a variety of trucks within local routes, handling freight that can include flatbed, refrigerated, tanker, dump, and hazardous loads. Pay runs $1,500 to $1,900 a week.

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-offs, and other commercial vehicles

• Includes hazardous materials and dangerous goods handled per regulations

What you'll do

• Plan and run local delivery routes using GPS

• Load and unload freight manually or with equipment like forklifts

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Keep accurate logs of hours, deliveries, and inspections

• Stay in contact with dispatch on routes and delivery status

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record

• Experience in commercial truck driving and freight delivery

• Comfortable with manual transmission and multiple trailer types

• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules and hazmat handling

• Able to manually lift and handle freight as needed
