Local CDL-A Transfer Driver — Home Daily, $25/hr

Our company in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a Class A CDL driver to shuttle empty equipment between customer facilities on a local route. You'll be home every day, working a set Monday through Friday schedule.

Pay

• $25.00 per hour, paid weekly

• Weekly earnings around $1000

Schedule and home time

• Home daily, local runs only

• Monday through Friday

• Shift starts at 2 PM

What you'll haul

• Shuttling empty trailers between our company customer locations for equipment transfer

• No-touch freight

Equipment and support

• Trucks are 36 months old or newer

• 24/7 roadside maintenance from Ryder-trained technicians

• Fueling handled at over 800 our company maintenance facilities nationwide

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with any endorsements the role requires

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Must pass a DOT physical, road test, background check, and drug and alcohol screening, including verification from past employers covering the last 3 years

• Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules and procedures

• Some assignments may involve extra screening, such as employment and education checks or customer-specific badging

Responsibilities

• Drive safely in line with DOT and safety regulations

• Complete ongoing training and deliver good customer service

• Follow applicable laws and company policies

• Spot and address safety hazards

• Keep accurate logs and records

• Handle other assigned duties
