Local CDL-A Tanker Driver — $28–$32/hr

Our company in South Portland, ME needs a Class A tanker driver to haul used hazardous and nonhazardous materials from local branches to their oil terminal for storage and re-refining. This is a local route with mostly weekday hours.

Pay

• $28-$32 an hour, depending on experience

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, locally based, with occasional overnight runs

• Up to 10% travel as business needs require

What you'll haul

• Used hazardous and nonhazardous materials moved in tanker trucks from local branches to the company's oil terminal

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and work safely at all times

• Keep up with daily paperwork and reports

• Drive the tanker truck on local routes

• Run pumps as part of loading and unloading

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement

• Able to obtain a hazmat endorsement

• Able to drive a manual transmission vehicle

• At least 1 year of tanker experience

• Clean driving record
