About this job
This is a local CDL-A shuttle driving job based out of Tempe, AZ, hauling for a dedicated COKE operation. You are home daily apart from the occasional overnight run to Chinle.
Pay
- Average pay is $1,250 a week (about $63,581 a year), and top earners reach $1,500 a week (about $76,140 annualized).
- Pay combines load pay with CPM.
- A $1,000 holiday start bonus is offered.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays.
- Early starts, around 3:00 to 4:00 AM.
- Shifts typically run 10 to 12 hours.
What you'll haul
- Loads start at the Tempe, AZ bottling facility.
- Expect roughly one load per day to distribution centers in Kingman, Flagstaff, Show Low, Gallup (NM) and Chinle.
- Freight is no-touch with live unloading, and you will use slip-seat equipment.
Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL with at least 3 months of verifiable experience.
- A Hazmat endorsement is preferred when you start; you must earn Hazmat certification within 90 days.
- A clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card.
- SAP drivers are not eligible.
- You need your own reliable transportation to and from the facility.
