About this job
Our company needs a local CDL-A Shuttle Driver in Lansing, MI 48933, ferrying trailers between the warehouse and shuttle yard on 3rd shift. You'll be back home every night.
Pay
- $80,000-$85,000 per year on average
Home time
- Home daily
- Works Sunday night through Thursday night, with dispatch times falling between 3-5pm
What you'll haul
- Tandem trailers, tractor trailers, and straight trucks
- You'll bring empty trailers into the warehouse, then head back out with loaded ones to the shuttle yard locations
Requirements
- At least 12 months behind the wheel in a commercial driving role
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CDL A with a Doubles Endorsement
- Minimum age 21
- No major violations on your driving record for the past 3 years
- Current DOT Health Card
- Able to clear a drug screen, background check, and road test
- Capable of lifting and handling freight in the 10-35 lb range by hand, with some locations requiring up to 60-90 lbs
