Penske Logistics is hiring full-time local Class A CDL drivers to run a daily shuttle route between Mississippi and Tennessee. The freight is no-touch, and you'll be home every day after your shift.
Pay
Drivers average $105,000 annually in this role.
Home time
This is a home-daily position, running five days a week from Sunday through Thursday, with dispatch between 2AM and 3AM.
What you'll haul
You'll operate late-model Penske trucks built for driver comfort and equipped with inward and outward facing cameras. The route involves shuttling no-touch freight between Mississippi and Tennessee, and you may occasionally help swap tires when the local day shift driver is unavailable.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL, with licensing in your state of residence and U.S. domicile
- Current or obtainable non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5
- A 3-year driving record with no more than two moving violations or accidents
- Proficiency in English as required by federal DOT rules
- Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
