About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver to run a local shuttle route out of Harrison Township, MI, hauling no-touch auto parts freight. You'll be home every day on a Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional weekend work depending on production needs.
Pay
- $31.25 per hour
- Weekly paychecks
- At least 40 hours a week
- Quarterly safety bonus of $250, four times a year
- Paid training
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, with some weekend shifts based on production
- Shift starts around 3:30 AM, depending on your route bid
- Local, home-daily shuttle route
What you'll haul
- Day cab tractor pulling a 53' dry van trailer
- No-touch auto parts freight
- Equipment is 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside assistance and access to over 800 maintenance locations nationwide

Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements for this route
- Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years
- Must pass a drug test, background check, motor vehicle record review, DOT physical and road test
- Previous employers' drug and alcohol records will be checked for the last 3 years
- Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules and procedures
- Some assignments may require extra background checks, employment or education verification, or customer-specific badging
Responsibilities
- Follow all applicable safety laws, rules and company standards
- Spot and reduce safety risks on the road
- Keep accurate logs and records
- Help load or unload freight when the customer requires it
- Handle other duties as assigned
