About this job
DLI is looking for local Class A drivers in Danville, VA who want to be home every night. You'll run a consistent Tuesday–Saturday route starting at 12:35 AM, with shifts around 10 hours.
Pay
- Weekly pay of $1,265, which works out to about $65,800 a year and $253.04 a day
Home time
- Home every day after your shift
- Fixed five-day schedule, Tuesday through Saturday
What you'll haul
- Drive an automatic transmission day cab pulling a 48-foot trailer with a liftgate
- You'll handle the freight yourself during deliveries
- Complete inspections and delivery paperwork, following DOT and FMCSA rules
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least a year of tractor-trailer experience is preferred
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable using liftgate equipment to deliver freight
- Must live within 30 miles of Danville, VA
