Local CDL-A Route Driver — 2nd Shift

This direct-hire role in Shelbyville, KY has you driving a company truck on a set route, moving hospital linens between a processing plant and several medical facilities on second shift. Pay runs $49,920 to $58,240 a year, Monday through Friday, with routes starting between 4 PM and 9 PM and running about 10 hours; some weekend work may be required, and you may need to stay past your scheduled end time if deliveries run late.

What you'll haul

• Clean and soiled hospital linens and laundry carts, moved between a processing facility and multiple medical locations

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least one year of professional driving experience

• Driving record that meets company standards

• Comfortable with DOT, state and local trucking rules, including hours-of-service

• Able to sit and drive for several hours at a stretch

• Good customer-service skills, reliable attendance, professional conduct

• Comfortable handling route, delivery and inspection paperwork accurately
