About this job
CrossCountry Freight Solutions is hiring a CDL A Route Delivery Driver in Salt Lake City, UT. You'll run local routes, home daily, delivering and picking up freight for customers and the terminal.
Pay
- $33.00 per hour, paid biweekly
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:00a-6:00p
- Local work, home daily
- Dedicated routes with consistent miles and hours
What you'll do
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Deliver and pick up freight at customer locations and the terminal
- Load, unload, sort, and palletize freight manually or with mechanical aid
- Handle required shipping paperwork for DOT compliance
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- 1 year of commercial driving experience
- No DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
- No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required, or willingness to obtain them (renewal costs reimbursed)
- Able to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting and maneuvering freight
