Local CDL-A Reefer Driver — $0.57/Mile + Stop Pay, Home Daily

This local reefer route runs out of Boston, MA, hauling frozen food through Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, with about one New Jersey run each week. You'll be home every day with weekends off.

Pay

• $0.57 per loaded mile plus $30 per stop

• Weekly pay, estimated at $900.00 - $1,100.00 per week

• Extra pay opportunities: $25/HR detention after the first hour, $25/HR breakdown pay, $20/HR training pay, $100 NYC/Long Island pay, and $8.50 per drop & hook

Home time

• Home daily, weekends off

• Monday-Friday schedule, starting around 3:00 AM for roughly 8-10 hour shifts

What you'll haul

• Frozen food products on a day cab pulling a reefer trailer

• No touch freight, with about 1-2 customer drops and a backhaul per run

• Occasional assignments into NYC or Long Island

Requirements

• Class A CDL with at least 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience

• Comfortable running a day cab tractor-trailer with reefer trailer

• Willing to bump docks and handle backhauls

• Able to work the MA/RI/CT/NJ region, with occasional NYC or Long Island trips

• Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen and background check

• No DUIs or DWIs in the past 5 years, and no more than 3 moving violations in the last 36 months
