About this job
This is a local CDL-A driving role centered on port and intermodal work near La Porte, Baytown, and Pasadena, Texas. You'll run a day cab with a 10-speed manual transmission and be home every day.
What you'll haul
- Container pickups and drop-offs
- Chassis handling and securement
- Intermodal freight through port terminals
Home time
- Local routes with daily home time
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean record and no restrictions, minimum 2 years of experience
- TWIC Card for port access
- Familiarity with port procedures, terminal operations, and DOT compliance
- Comfortable with pre-trip and post-trip inspections and equipment checks
- Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Capable of lifting and handling equipment as needed
