Local CDL-A LTL Truck Driver — $34.00–$39.05/hr

Our company is hiring a local CDL-A driver in Mundelein, IL to run LTL freight between company terminals and customer locations in a set area, handling pickups and deliveries without claims or damage.

Pay

• $34.00 to $39.05 per hour

What you'll do

• Operate tractor trailers to pick up and deliver customer freight

• Load, unload, sort and handle freight at terminals and customer sites

• Map out routes and timing to hit pickup and delivery windows

• Follow pre-trip and post-trip inspection, freight handling and billing steps

• Keep up with safety and quality checks, plus required paperwork and load records

• Act as the main contact when delivery issues come up

Requirements

• Age 21 or older

• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat, tanker and double/triple trailer endorsements (X or H, N and T)

• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience

• Able to read, write and speak English

• No DUI, DWI or license suspension for moving violations in the past 3 years, in any vehicle

• No chargeable accidents or serious traffic violations in the 6 months before applying
