Local CDL-A LTL Truck Driver — $34.00–$39.05/hr

Our company is looking for a local CDL-A driver in Kent, WA to haul less-than-truckload freight between company terminals and customer sites in a set service area. You'll handle pickups and deliveries on a planned route and keep the freight claims-free along the way.

Pay

• $34.00 to $39.05 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive a tractor trailer to pick up and deliver customer freight

• Load, unload and sort freight at terminals and customer locations

• Stick to assigned routes and schedules for on-time service

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and follow safety and quality procedures

• Handle billing paperwork and keep load records in order

• Act as the main contact if there's a delivery issue

Requirements

• Class A CDL; Hazmat, Tanker and twin trailer endorsements preferred

• At least 21 years old

• Authorized to work in the US

• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience preferred

• No DUI, DWI or license suspension for moving violations in the last 3 years

• No chargeable accidents or serious traffic violations in the last 6 months

• Able to read, write and communicate in English for job tasks
