Local CDL-A LTL Driver — $34.00–$39.05/hr

Our company in Franklin Park, IL is looking for a local CDL-A driver to move freight between company terminals and customer sites within a set area, keeping deliveries on time and damage-free.

Pay

• $34.00 to $39.05 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive a tractor trailer for pickups and deliveries in a defined local area

• Load, unload and sort freight at terminals and customer locations

• Map out routes and schedules to hit pickup and delivery windows

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks and follow freight handling and billing steps

• Run safety and quality inspections as required

• Keep accurate paperwork, forms and load records

• Act as the main contact when delivery issues come up

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• High school diploma or GED

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat, tanker and twin trailer endorsements

• No DUI, DWI or license suspension for moving violations in any vehicle in the past 3 years

• No chargeable accidents or serious traffic violations in the 6 months before applying

• Able to read, write and speak English well enough to talk with coworkers and the public, follow instructions, read road signs, and fill out shipping documents and reports accurately
