Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver — Home Daily, $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

J.B. Hunt is looking for local Class A drivers to run its company-owned intermodal fleet in the Wyoming, MI area. You'll haul loads between the rail yard and customer sites on familiar routes, with consistent freight and flexible shifts designed to get you home every day.

Pay

• Pay is activity-based, rewarding you for the work you complete, with average annual earnings of $77,000.00 per year

• A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for a limited time

• Safety bonus opportunities may apply

• Mileage pay ranges from $0.49 to $0.61 per mile

• Extra pay applies for specific tasks and situations, including: chassis flips ($20.00/hr), cross-town moves ($25.00-$60.00/move), detention ($20.00-$25.00/hr), driver assist ($25.00/occurrence), drop/hook ($23.00/stop), empty moves ($15.00/move), empty search ($15.00/occurrence), excessive dunnage ($15.00/occurrence), hazmat loads ($25.00/load), live lifts ($20.00/occurrence), live load/unload ($35.00/stop), mandatory meetings ($22.00/hr), mechanical breakdowns ($20.00/hr), rail delays ($20.00/hr), recovery ($25.00/occurrence), reefer crosstown/empty moves ($30.00/load), refrigerated loads ($30.00/load), refused deliveries ($40.00/load), safety training ($22.00/hr), spotting ($5.00/move), trailer washing ($15.00/occurrence), truck detailing ($50.00/occurrence), truck order not used ($20.00/occurrence), waiting on a power unit ($20.00/hr), and yard work ($15.00/hr)

Home time

This is a local route, and you're scheduled to return home daily.

What you'll haul

You'll move intermodal containers between the rail and customer delivery points for J.B. Hunt's company-owned fleet, one of the largest intermodal operations in North America.

Requirements

A Class A CDL is required for this role. Online orientation is paid.
