Local CDL-A Grocery Driver — Home Daily, Avg $1,700–$2,300/Week

Run a local grocery route out of Perryville and be back in your own bed every night. This overnight gig keeps you busy with multiple stops and pays you for each task you complete, not just the miles.

Pay

• Weekly earnings average $1,700 to $2,300

• Mileage rate of $0.50 to $0.54, depending on your experience level

• $20 for each stop plus $55 per load

• An additional $50 when delivering to New York metro stores

• $150 in weekly supplemental pay

• Bonus for safe, on-time performance

What you'll haul

• Grocery deliveries to stores in PA, NJ and NY, including Staten Island and Long Island

• Expect 10 to 20 stops weekly, covering roughly 1,600 to 1,800 miles

• You'll handle loading and unloading yourself using an electric pallet jack to get freight into store stockrooms

• Be ready to lift up to 75 lbs

Schedule

• Shifts begin somewhere between 6 PM and 1 AM

• You're home every single day

• The operation runs all seven days, with two days off in a row

• Your truck is based out of the Perryville yard, so you'll need dependable transportation to get there

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older with a minimum of 3 months of solo tractor-trailer driving under your belt

• Current Class A CDL valid in your home state

• Driving record should show no more than 2 moving violations and no preventable accidents over the past 3 to 5 years

• No DUI or DWI within the last 5 years; SAP drivers won't be considered

• Able to pass both hair and urine drug screenings

• You'll need to live within 45 miles of Perryville, MD
