About this job
Our company is looking for CDL-A drivers to run a dedicated local grocery account out of Perryville, MD. You'll get home every day, run consistent routes, and work with multi-temp reefer trailers delivering to stores.
Pay
- $0.50 to $0.54 per mile, based on experience
- $20 per stop
- $55 per load
- $150 extra each week
- $50 extra for store drops in NY
- Average weekly pay is $1,700, with top earners making $2,100 or more
- Yearly average works out to $89,000 to $111,000
Home time
- You're home every day
- Shifts start between 6:00 PM and 1:00 AM
- The operation runs all 7 days of the week
What you'll haul
- Dedicated grocery freight in multi-temperature reefer trailers
- Deliveries go straight to store rooms on pallets
- You'll unload with an electric pallet jack
- Routes include several stops, averaging 1,600 miles a week
- You'll also bring return loads back to the distribution center
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 3 months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 12 months
- Able to handle freight weighing up to 75 lbs
- Your own reliable way to get to and from work, since trucks stay at the yard
