About this job
Our company, a family-owned bulk petroleum carrier in Southern California, is looking for CDL-A hazmat tanker drivers to deliver fuel products locally. You'll be home every day and paid well for the work.
Pay
- $29.00 to $41.00 per hour, with pay varying by years of service and extra premiums for weekend shifts

What you'll haul
- Petroleum products delivered to customers throughout Southern California
What you'll do
- Load freight and complete deliveries following safety rules and company procedures
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate logs and use onboard ELD systems
- Plan routes around Southern California traffic using GPS or maps
- Keep your truck and trailer clean
- Be available for extra hours, including weekends and holidays
Requirements
- Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat (X) endorsements
- At least 36 months of recent, verifiable commercial driving experience
- Experience operating vehicles over 26,000 lbs GVW
- Clear pre-employment physical, background check, and drug/alcohol screening
- Valid medical certificate with no restrictions
- Must pass the company's road test
- Must be able to obtain loading privileges at Southern California terminals
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs
- TWIC card is a plus but not required
- Prior petroleum hauling experience is a strong plus
