Local CDL-A Flex Support Driver — $35.00/hr

Our company is a dedicated contract carrier looking for a flexible CDL-A driver to cover varying local routes in West Chicago, IL. You'll run a mix of equipment and handle loading tasks as needed, mostly on first shift.

Pay

• $35.00 per hour

• Overtime kicks in after 40 hours

• Paid weekly with direct deposit

• Quarterly safety bonus up to $500 (up to $2,000 per year)

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work

• Mostly first shift, though hours can vary

What you'll haul

• Mix of tractor trailers and straight trucks

• Dry van, reefer, and flatbed freight

• Assigned to different routes as coverage is needed

• Use of a lift gate when required, plus loading and unloading cargo with proper handling and securing

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 12 months of recent CDL driving experience, including flatbed work

• Must pass a DOT drug test and physical, and have a clean driving record

• Able to lift, bend, push, and pull as the job demands

• Reliable transportation to get to work

• Strong communication skills and ability to think on your feet
