About this job
Our company is hiring Class A drivers to deliver construction materials by flatbed to stores, distribution centers and job sites around Hagerstown, MD. You are home every night on a Monday to Friday schedule.
Pay
- $65,000 to $75,000 a year
- Overtime is available
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, home every night
- Some Saturdays when needed
What you'll do
- Deliver construction materials on a flatbed
- Unload at the drop-off when the delivery calls for it; forklift experience helps
- Keep a daily truck log and turn in your mileage report at the end of the day
- Check your truck over daily and tell management about any damage or problems
- Report mechanical or equipment failures as soon as you spot them
- Follow DOT rules and company policies
- Represent the company well with customers and the public
Requirements
- Class A license
