About this job
Our company is hiring a local delivery driver in Landover, MD. You will deliver product to customers on a route, handle the related paperwork and keep customers happy. No CDL is required.
Pay
- $10 - $48 an hour as posted
What you'll do
- Drive your route and deliver product to customers
- Take payments when needed and pick up inbound product when needed
- Help load product onto the truck
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip paperwork, fueling and logs
- Process paperwork and returned product once the route is done
- Tell customers and management about any issues
Requirements
- At least 6 months of driving experience (1 year preferred); route delivery experience is preferred over OTR
- High school diploma or GED
- Class C driver's license at minimum
- A driving record that meets the company's insurability standards
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work with a hand truck and pallet jacks
- Attention to detail, strong customer service, good communication and organizational skills, and a safety-first approach
