Local CDL-A Flatbed Driver — Home Daily, $0.61/Mile

Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver to run local flatbed routes out of Fredericksburg, VA, hauling lumber with load securement only, and getting you home every day.

Pay

• $0.61 per mile, averaging 1,700–1,800 miles weekly

• $30 per stop, with 5–10 stops expected weekly

• Weekly paychecks, with typical weekly earnings between $1,300 and $1,500

• Quarterly safety bonus of $500, paid four times a year

Home time

• Local route, home every day

• Monday through Friday schedule with an early morning start

What you'll haul

• Flatbed trailers, 53 feet

• Day cab tractor

• Lumber freight requiring load securement only

• Delivery radius of 300 miles around the Mid Atlantic

• Equipment is 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside support and fueling at 800+ locations nationwide

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with necessary endorsements

• Pass a drug screen, background check, MVR review and DOT physical

• Pass a road test

• Tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10

• Able to follow instructions and apply relevant regulations
