About this job
Drive local routes out of the Perryville, MD distribution center and sleep in your own bed every night. You'll run about 1,800 miles a week with 10 to 20 stops, hauling touch freight that you load and unload with a pallet jack.
Pay
- Average weekly pay of $1,792, which works out to about $93,203 a year
- Top earners make $2,308 a week, or around $120,057 annualized
- Pay is built from mileage, availability pay, and a bonus for safe, on-time runs
Home time
- Home every day, with 2 consecutive days off each week
What you'll haul
- Touch freight, loaded and unloaded by hand using pallet jacks
- Routes cover Pennsylvania, Staten Island, NY, and New Jersey
Schedule
- Runs 7 days a week, with shifts starting anywhere from 6 PM to 1 AM
Requirements
- CDL-A license
- At least 3 months of driving experience
- Able to lift 75 lbs
- Dependable way to get to and from work, since trucks stay at the yard and don't go home with you
