Local CDL-A Driver — Overnight Shift, From $27.00/hr

Our company, a snack food manufacturer in Danbury, CT, needs an experienced CDL-A driver to move product and raw materials between the factory and warehouse on an overnight schedule. Shift differentials apply, and you'll also pitch in on warehouse duties between runs.

Schedule

• Overnight shift, 10pm to 6:30am

• Local routes, with occasional out-of-state travel for deliveries or pickups when needed

Pay

• Starts at $27.00 per hour

• Shift differentials offered

What you'll do

• Inspect your truck before every shift

• Haul finished product and raw materials between the factory and warehouse

• Handle the paperwork for each product transfer

• Keep your cab and trailer clean, with a deep clean at least twice a week

• Pick orders, load trucks, and help stock raw materials in the warehouse between runs

• Operate a sit-down forklift and pallet jack to move goods and keep allergen and non-organic items properly separated

• Follow CT DMV and DOT rules, including logbook requirements, on any out-of-state trips

• Keep the warehouse floor and aisles clear of trash, cardboard and other debris

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver's license

• Clean driving record for the past three years, verifiable through DMV records

• Must pass an internal forklift course to earn a safety authorization card

• Strong, timely communication skills

• Able to lift 50 lbs from the floor to overhead, stand for extended periods, and work in a busy, noisy warehouse
