About this job
Our company is looking for a local CDL-A driver to run multi-stop dry van freight across Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. You'll be home most nights, with occasional 10-hour rest breaks required on the road.
Pay
- Base rate of $0.75 per mile, which already includes a $0.10 per mile performance bonus
- Drivers in the top 25% of this fleet average $2,000 a week, or about $104,000 a year
- Typical mileage runs 1,900-2,000 miles per week
- $20 paid per stop
- $35 paid per pallet jack unload, with separate rates for the occasional hand unload
- $500 for completing orientation
- $1,500 sign-on bonus
Home time
Expect to be home most nights, though you may occasionally need to take a required 10-hour rest break while out on the road.
What you'll haul
You'll run dry van loads for a non-grocery retail chain, making 3 to 4 stops per load. Deliveries are touch freight: you'll unload using a liftgate trailer and pallet jack, with occasional hand unloading required.

Requirements
