About this job
This is a local Class A CDL driving job out of Fontana, CA, running preloaded freight across Southern California with occasional trips to Las Vegas, NV. You'll be home every day on consistent, set lanes.
Pay
- Average yearly earnings of $72,548
- Top annualized earnings of up to $96,660
- Additional bonus incentives on top of base pay
Home time
- Home daily
- Shifts run 10 to 12 hours, starting between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM
- 6 days a week, including weekends
What you'll haul
- Preloaded freight on set lanes, about 1,400 miles weekly
- You're responsible for watching the offload, with some light unloading on 28-foot trailers using a manual pallet jack and liftgate
- Trucks are new, automatic-transmission day cabs
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- At least 3 months tractor-trailer driving experience
- Live within 60 miles of Rialto, CA
- Your own way to get to and from the yard each day
- Able to work weekends and 6-day weeks
- Must pass DOT and company hiring checks
