About this job
This is a local Class A CDL driving job based out of Fontana, CA, hauling preloaded freight across Southern California with occasional trips to Las Vegas, NV. You'll be home every day on consistent, set routes.
Pay
- Average yearly earnings of $72,548, with top drivers earning up to $96,660 annually
- Additional bonus incentives on top of base earnings
Home time
- Home daily
- Shifts run 10-12 hours, starting between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM
- Six days a week, including weekends
What you'll haul
- Freight comes preloaded; you mainly watch over the offload process
- Some manual unloading on 28-foot trailers with a pallet jack and liftgate
- Runs average around 1,400 miles weekly on fixed lanes
- Trucks are new day cabs with automatic transmissions
Requirements
- Active Class A CDL
- At least 3 months of experience driving tractor-trailers
- Live within 60 miles of Rialto, CA
- Own transportation to get to and from the yard each day
- Able to work six days weekly, weekends included
- Must clear DOT and company hiring standards
