Local CDL-A Driver — Home Daily, Up to $2,300/Week

Our company is hiring local CDL-A drivers for intermodal drayage, flatbed and aggregate hauling around the Greater Chicago Area. You'll be home every day, running company-owned, fully automatic trucks with GPS, and working with a dispatch team that supports you. Dump truck work is also available if that's your preference.

Pay

• Percentage-based pay, up to $2,300 per week depending on your schedule

• Pay range listed as $1,000.00 to $2,300.00 per week

• Rate sheet is percentage-based and intended to pay more per run than many traditional carriers

Home time

• Home daily

• Choice of three shifts: early morning, noon, or night

• Schedule adjustments available through communication with the company

What you'll haul

• Daily regional runs within the Greater Chicago Area

• Loads, chassis, flatbeds, or aggregate materials

• Intermodal drayage, flatbed, and dump/aggregate freight

What the job involves

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your vehicle

• Digital delivery logs kept in line with DOT Hours of Service rules

• Regular coordination with dispatch to keep routes running smoothly

• Securing freight on flatbed trailers when assigned to flatbed work

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record

• Valid DOT Medical Card

• Working knowledge of DOT Hours of Service and safety regulations

• Experience in intermodal drayage, flatbed, or aggregate/dump hauling

• Good communication with dispatch and flexibility with changing routes

• Able to perform standard load securement tasks
