About this job
Our company needs Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated Meijer grocery lane out of Tipp City, Ohio. You'll be home every single day, driving newer equipment on no-touch freight.
Pay
- $28 per hour if you work days
- $30 per hour if you work nights
- Add $5 per hour more for weekend shifts
- Most first-year drivers bring home $1,700 to $2,000 weekly, working around 50 hours
- $2,500 bonus for signing on
Home time
- Daily home time, no nights away
- You'll work 5 days a week with 2 days off back to back
- Pick from Sunday through Thursday, Monday through Friday, or Tuesday through Saturday schedules
- Shifts run about 10 to 12 hours, either morning or overnight
- Dispatch is staffed around the clock, every day of the week
What you'll haul
- Grocery loads for Meijer under a dedicated contract
- Freight is no-touch, roughly 95% drop-and-hook
- You'll drive newer Freightliner trucks
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Drivers coming through the SAP program will not be considered
