About this job
Our company, an employee-owned company in North Salt Lake, UT, is looking for a local CDL-A driver to run drop-and-hook routes between its Utah stores. You'll work Monday through Thursday and be home every night, with weekends off.
Pay
- $40.00 per hour
Schedule
- Monday through Thursday only, with Fridays through Sundays off
- Home every night, no overnight trips
- A new truck is set to arrive in November
What you'll haul
- Drop-and-hook freight moving between our company's Salt Lake-area locations
- One longer regional trip each week
What you'll do
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
- Secure loads and manage tire casings
- Maintain accurate DOT logs
- Coordinate with dispatch and store staff
Requirements
- Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Doubles/triples endorsement
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience, or recent CDL school graduate
- Current DOT medical card
