About this job
Our company Ltd. is looking for Class A drivers near Cambridge, OH for a local, home-daily position with paid training and a fast track to driving solo. Freight is dry van, no-touch, mostly drop-and-hook and trailer shuttling between sites.
Pay
- $1,050 to $1,500 per week
- Overtime pays at time and a half
Schedule
- Home daily, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week
- Two shift options, each 12 hours, 4 days on and 4 days off:
- Early shift: 1 driver starting at 4am, 5am or 6am
- Evening shift: 3 drivers starting at 4pm, 5pm or 6pm
- Must be within a 40 minute commute of Cambridge, OH
What you'll haul
- Dry van, no-touch freight
- Drop-and-hook work and shuttling trailers between sites
What you'll do
- Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections and get freight delivered on schedule
- Drive a Class A tractor-trailer while building safe driving habits and professional conduct on the road
- Keep accurate logs and trip paperwork
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch and driver managers
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record and a passed background check
- Able to pass a DOT drug screen and a hair follicle test
