About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver for a local, home-daily shuttle route in Spring Hill, TN, hauling no-touch auto parts freight on campus.
Pay
- $31.28 per hour, paid weekly
- At least 40 hours per week
- our company drivers on this account report earning $1,250 or more weekly
- Paid training included
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Start time varies
- Home every day
What you'll haul
- Local shuttle runs, staying on campus
- Day cab tractor
- 53' dry van and drop frame trailers
- No-touch freight: auto parts
- Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling support at more than 800 locations nationwide
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A license with the right endorsements for this role
- Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years
- Must pass a DOT physical, a our company road test, and a background check including drug, alcohol and motor vehicle record screening covering the past 3 years
- Able to read, understand and follow instructions, laws, regulations and procedures
- Some assignments may require added screening, such as employment or education checks, badging, or customer-specific background requirements
Responsibilities
- Follow applicable federal, state and company safety rules and procedures
- Spot and address safety hazards
- Keep accurate logs and records
- Load or unload freight when the customer requires it
- Handle other duties as assigned
